Méia Lua Step 3 – Instructions
Same starting instructions as in the previous step except that:
- When your first leg (right in the video) touches the ground, bend it slightly in order to lower your pelvis a little bit.
- Keep the shoulder in a high position and well contracted.
- Slightly bend the elbow.
- The leg (left in the video) which kicked stays extended before it lands on the ground far enough behind so that your two knees are well apart.
- Push on your arm to go up, the sequence of these points must be done in a fluid way.
- Cross your first leg (the right in the video) in front of the other to create a new outward rotation at the end.
Previous instructions :
- When the back leg (left in the video) has reached its limit, perform a small jump.
- Make sure to keep both legs wide apart.
- The leg stayed on the ground (right in the video) jumps and lands outside the starting axis.
- Imagine that your body has to move around a circle that surrounds your support arm.
- The kick leg (left in the video) must land well behind.
- Once placed on the ground, the other leg (right in the video) sweeps in front of it in order to close the rotation (wath carefully at the end).
